Way Howe - 914 Banga ft. Earl Franchise

Shout out to one of my OG's from the 90's! Earl Franchise

RIP Sean Price aka Ruckness Monsta!

Man, it's crazy to have to say this once again. We lost another soldier today to the game. Sean Price has passed away! I remember him as part of Fab 5 and Helta Skelta. This was during my high school days before the game really became commercialized. I am happy to see that someone from the family got possibility to work with him before his passing and the work was outstanding. Rest In Peace to you Ruckness Monsta!! You will be missed.

Hold Up, Wait A Minute, Meek Mill get that shit out of here!!!

Alright, here it is that I am sitting here this fine TGIF getting ready to do my Math homework and ran across a post that Grand Father Flex posted. It seems that Meek Mill has been spotted on the Pink Print Tour out in New Jersey running his mouth again... Please for the love of things that I can't understand someone tell this idiot to STFU!!!! Seriously?!

Here we go again....

TMZ reports that he throws a pre VMA party out in Beverly Hills and wrecks the property. Broken furniture, trash all over the property, house left dismayed. You don't want to reach or pay the settlement and now you got all of your A-List friends including your girlfriend involved to be sued by the landlord. What kind of shit is that. Where is the remaining 2.5 Million your worth located? No you are not living life as a rock star, you're living life as an irresponsible fucktard!

Now you're attempting to get back at Drake with a line he used in a track about a year ago? "I'm First In Line"?? Really, why would you say something like that on stage? You are looking really thirst right now and the sad part is that she is yours. Or you are hers I should say. Notice what the call y'all "Omeeka", she starts the name, not you!

And fucking finally, get off of Quinten's dick!!!! You keep on promoting the dude to the point I can foresee him with numorous contracts as a ghostwriter for a grip! Get over it! Drake paid for the song, he hasn't gone off and said anything against the song move on. The initial attack was, Drake don't write "any" of his own rhymes. Everyone is laughing at you man, just stop the foolishness! It's not worth the time anymore. All it does is piss me off overtime when I see a headline that says, Meek Mill snaps back at Drake! Because it feels like you are only cheek pinching the dude.

Drake vs. Meek Mill

Yup!!!! I'm back. So here I go. I am not saying that I am tired of this battle that is going on, I am say that I am tired of the way it is going. It is very one sided and it deserves to be so with the garbage that keeps coming back. All the memes and all the words being thrown and he just won't get it. Meek Mill, you are a joke and laughing stock of hip hop. No I am not bandwagoning it because my household and close friends know that I am a D.R.A.K.E (Do Right And Kill Everything) Fan to the death. OVO for life.

1st, let's be clear, DO NOT OPEN A CHALLENGE THAT YOU ARE NOT READY FOR!!! Drake don't write his own rhymes?? That's an opening for a Hip Hop ass kickin'. You just don't do that. You were patiently given a total of 4-5 days to give a suitable fight but no. You left it up to Drake to give it to you, and that's what he did. When Charged Up came out he basically "sang" to you what can possibly happen to you if you don't back off. Now remember, I said "sang" to you. What did you do? Apologize to Nicki for what you said but then open your mouth once more at the Barclays stop in Brooklyn, NY. About a good 10 hours aways from his home town where you were told you were not welcomed. You show up and didn't even perform on your own set. You waited to perform on Nicki's set and thought that you could get away with it even though you were boo'd.

2nd, you gassed up the wrong cock sucker. Yeah I'm calling him what he is. Funk Master Flex aka GrandFather Flex. He goes and basically plasters all over the internet and airways that you, Meek Mill, was going to be on his show and was going to release your rebuttal. You never showed and all we got was a 15 second track from Twitter with you screaming "AAAHHHH". WHAT KIND OF SHIT IS THAT??? In the words of one of the greatest New Yorkers I know.... C'mon Son, Get the fuck outta here with that shit!!! I mean really son? Now we gotta call that bluff! Enter Back 2 Back!

3rd, you really fucked yourself releasing a track that included WWE's Undertakers Theme track and you completed disrespected what all that stands for. Do you or did you even watch wrestling anytime in your life?! THE UNDERTAKER!!! The dude appitamized death reincarnate and that's who's track you used, not sample, used?! Didn't Diddy teach you anything while you were hanging out? Geez dude, what the fuck? Yeah I have to spell it out because you basically need to understand the retardation you have encompassed in yourself! And using the originally that he purchased from Quinten Miller. Get over yourself dude. You are looking at lawsuit after lawsuit from the WWE and possibly OVO if Drake wanted to be petty.

So now Team OVO has to take you out completely by humiliating you out of it. OVO Fest is basically diss Meek Mill Fest and you have people like Philly's own "WILL SMITH" laughing his ass off at memes about you. Kanye West, LeBron James, Lil Wayne and God knows who else. This is one of those things when you should have known your place. When you stated scared money don't make no money, you should have realized $75 Million to $3 Million ain't scared especially when you have to take chances with your artist career by acting and then moving on to music. He has too much going on for you to try to even compare. Canada ambassador for basketball, Studios in Memphis and Canada, owns his own label (OVO), part of the biggest label out there (Young Money), has a share stake in Beats Radio on Apple, and a former actor that still gets paid for the show he was on with royalties. Sir all you have is an app and some Pumas. Think about it. Step away, and shut the FUCK UP!!! Thank you for your time!

RIP Chinx Drugz

Sad news today in the up and coming hip hop game. French Montana's artist Chinx Drugz has been shot and killed 4 A.M. this morning. The late Coke Boy was on a serious rise but curcumed to this demise. I say to a lot of the up and coming, please note who you hang out with and what it is you do on your off time. Keep your appearances and events but know that there is a time and place for the foolishness. More on the story on Chinx Drugz on the link!

POTUS visits Jamaica and while leaving takes picture with Usain Bolt

Last week President Obama visited "The Land We Love" Jamaica! He met with the Prime Minister and spoke at West Indies University with the young people of Jamaica on politics and finances. Even though it was a one day visit, needless to say he has stated that he and the family will be back to visit. I would strongly suggest that he visits Negril and Montego Bay on his next trip. I am happy to see that finally a president in my time line has visited Jamaica to speak to people on Fiscal Responsibility and take in the culture in one day.

Weezy vs. Baby

So the Cash Money Young Money beef just keeps getting more and more interesting. Baby as of late has removed the YM off of YMCMB and has added RG now making it CMBRG. Now with all these letters being thrown around you have nothing better to do than wonder what is going to happen to all those who are associated with Young Money when it comes to CMB. There are a lot of contractual obligations that are still out there lingering and sooner or later Baby is going to have to come to cope with the fact that he is going to have to let go of Wayne's artists. With Drake and Nicki making the money for the record company, you have to wonder how he is going to handle how this is going to go down.

Now Wayne, on the other hand seems to have it all under control. He has released shot after shot at CMB to the point it seems that RHQ (Rich Homie Quan) has parted ways from Rich Gang. These shots seem to be bring a lot to light because the CMB Roster looks slimmer each day. I like the rest of the Hip Hop Community will probably call this the Roc-A-Fella fight all over again. That's my personal view of it.

Kendrick Lamars New Album Cover

I have been a big fan of Kendrick Lamar's work. What really lead me to believe that this young man has what it takes is when he teamed up with Drake to do Anytime, a track that samples Janet Jackson Anytime Anywhere from back in the days. Kendrick has shown me that he has the lyrical style and content that it takes and the vision to go ahead and lead todays generation of music into a greater place than it is now.

I know my words are just a repeating factor but I really do wish that he and School Boy Q help bring these new acts a guiding light. Some of these acts to me are not artists as they proclaim themselves. They are people who tend to want the fortune and fame that goes along with it. School needs to be in session!

Young Thug vs Young Jeezy

This is a crazy one right here. After having a conversation with a Co-Worker today I was amazed by what she has said. "I am not anyway impressed with my generations music" are the words that were used. So I decided to put Young Thug up against Young Jeezy. Let's see what happens.

The Need to Strive to be the Best

Everybody on this planet, one way or another, tends to strive to be the best. Being the best means setting a goal and working towards it. I everyday strive to be the best due to having a family. A family is a motivating force when you do want to accomplish something. You want to show them that you have a grounds to become great and that they too have the potential to become great. When you show each one what it is to become great and to broadcast it through their own families as they grow into their own. Always be the best. No matter how far you may be from it or how completed you are towards it. I know that this is off topic from the blog but I had to say this.

Young Money Vs. Cash Money

Wow, here we go again and this time the target seems to be Drake. So Drake wanted to release If You're Reading This It's Too Late as a mixtape that was supposed to be a Gangsta Grillz release. Well here comes Cash Money to rain on another parade. Cash Money finds out that Drake is going to do the release and puts it to a halt. Drake is made to drop the album on iTunes. Now I think that this all has to do with money all the way around. Why would Cash Money stop the release as the artist planned? Well the majority also has to do with the beef between Cash Money and Young Money. I strongly believe that as soon as the label is from under Cash Moneys thumb, there is going to be a serious move and I'm telling you it's not going to be nice for the Cash Money Crew!

Supposed to be free until Cash Money stops movement

Kanye Does It Again!!!

Kanye West, who has been known for interrupting Taylor Swifts' MTV Award acceptance, was at it again and this time it was at the Grammy's. As the Album of the Year Awards was announced and the winner was Beck, Kanye heads towards the stage as if he was ready to interupt Beck because he beat out Beyonce. But once you see it, Kanye was being fun at heart in the whole situation. Check the video below.

Editorial: The Evolution of Hip Hop

The Evolution of Hip-Hop has been something obvious severe! The picture up top is the exact transition to the industry we all love so much. Why has this happened? There is just so much that can be said, and I am going to say some of it.

What ever happened to the days where you could sit back listen to a good Hip Hop track and understand exactly what the artist is saying? It has been a long time. Hip Hop started long before we all know it and to see what has happened make wonder at days, is that what we have to look forward to? I mean this the route that our children's generation has decided to take an art that comes from battle raps to telling stories of what our neighborhoods were like. From Partying up in the club and enjoying ourselves to verbs being thrown in an unusual way. The way used to dress, some of do still dress as such, to the way we carry ourselves. There are so many thing that I cannot understand when it comes to the 2010's!

When I grew up, living in Mount Vernon, NY, my favorite track was B.D.P's South Bronx and Criminal Minded due to the fact it was my first true track. Then L.L. Cool J came about and made Queens be known in his own way (To tell the truth, I'm working on that body right now ;P No Homo). And good lord the D.J., the most underrated magician in Hip Hop. Why do I say magician? Well they are the ones that create the magic. Back the D.J.s were the ones that came up with the beats and then used 2 Turntables and a Mic to rock the party. A rapper was known as an M.C. (Master of Ceremony) who controlled the flow of the crowd. But it was the DJ that made it happen for the MC. Then of course who can forget the "WORLDS FAVORITE RAP GROUP"??? Who am I talking about? The Clan (Wu-Tang Clan). The way the approached us with stories of how it was in the hood and brought it to our front doors. C.N.N. (Capone-N-Norega) brought that straight street ghetto that made everyone feel that they could be a thug. Nas told his stories as well of Queensbridge and the projects. I will never touch the factors of Biggie and Pac due to the fact that they are historians in our game. They fall in with the likes of Sugarhill Gang, DJ Cool Herc (from Jamaica), and others within that time frame.

Then you have the Southern Movement... Master P, Hot Boyz, No Limit Soldiers, Trick Daddy and the Slip-N-Slide Family. These artist brought to us the world of booty shaking and the southern way of life. Where slinging drugs, committing murder, everyday street hustle, and fact that you have to enjoy the fruit that you grow with your everyday hustle. In the south, the love bass, they love big booty girls, and they enjoy that they know that tomorrow is promised to no one and to cease the day.

But 2010's Hip Hop does not really do it for me. I will admit I am a Drake fan to heart. Nothing will ever change that. I just about have every mixtape that he owns but at the same time I respect artists out there like J. Cole, Big Sean, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, T.I., Meek Mills, Wale, Rick Ross, Vado, and Fred the Godson to name a few. But the one artist I still never can understand until I listen to his track for about 10 times... YOUNG THUG!!! Why is it so hard to make yourself understood. Now, I understand that I come from a older generation when it comes to this Hip Hop shit but to that you must understand that I just want the best for you guys out there and for you to make it big the way previous artists have.

One of the biggest movements that I have seen in the 1990's was the Def Jam movement. This movement was so powerful because it gave artists the opportunity to create for themselves and have their own! What do I mean by their own... Roc-A-Fella, Murder Inc., Disturbing the Peace, DEF Squad, and Def Soul what do all of these have in common??? They are their own independent record labels. One of todays biggest artist has taken that into consideration and created Young Money through Cash Money Records. Lil Wayne has taken the art and moved like other have in the past. He has his own shoe (Supra), own clothing line (Truck Fit), and own label (Young Money). This is what I wish for our future Hip Hop Artists. To take what they have made and invest it into something that will come back at least 5 fold for yourself. Instead of living off of a Ferrari that you will only have for about 4 months because you missed the payment. Back to living with your mothers because you didn't pay the note on the house. These are things that I worry about with the Evolution of Hip-Hop.

I will have more to go on this....

What's on my Android! (Early 2015)

Wow, this guy has it down packed. I think that I am going to have to clean sweep my Note Edge. He has it nice, simple and ready to go. Whenever I have a question or need to find out what's new this is where I go. I am thinking hard about going to Hangout for my SMS but I have to check first to see if it works with my Samsung Gear. I won't let that stop me though. Just like new things with a clean look. There are two major things that I do in life is going to school and going to work (Loving the fact that I am not in charge of any soldiers). But if you ever have any questions, that's the guy!

PSA: What We Do As Men

Journal Writing

What we do as men. There are a lot of things our women do not want to see us do in life that still tends to rare it's ugly face. I know that for a while I was stuck in limbo because I had no clue what was going on. So what did I tend to do, write in a Journal. A lot of men do not know this, but if you sit down and write in a journal what is going on through out your day, you tend to lose the "bitch" in you as women would call us. Venting out our frustrations on paper or typing in a journal helps remove the stress that is on the brain and tends to keep the wife / girlfriend happy. No lie, I write in a journal about every other day. And on my really bad day, you can almost catch me writing once every 3 hours. Some of us do not like confrontation and want to keep a happy and healthy home. This is one way to do it. Now, if you are anything like me I tend to do my writing on my laptop. There are apps that are there to help you with this. I use OneNote from Microsoft. OneNote syncs with all of your handheld devices. I have a Note Edge so you will catch me typing away there and know that it syncs back to my laptop. I used to use EverNote but it just after a while didn't feel to warming. With OneNote I could add photo's and treat it as a personal blog to myself. Locked away on my phone. I also use OneNote as a quick note book as well. OneNote has been very helpful to me as a way to remove some of the stressors in life. So What we do as men??? Write it down and keep it out of our minds until it really become relevant. Till next time!

Sex Positions

Yes like I said, I hold back none. There are somethings that shouldn't be hidden and I think this is one of them or should I say three of them. Sit back and enjoy the quick video!

"Driving With Your Girlfriend"

Sometimes I wonder... Is that what she does at times? Man the fuck up!!!

The Danalock Smart Lock

Okay gentlemen (and ladies of course) here is something new to the game, and I must say that this will be something that I am looking forward to purchasing in the near future. I am creating a Man Cave to where I will only have the simplest of things. A mans TV of course, XBOX One, PS4, an Apple Computer that connects to the TV and a little bit of a sound system. Now with the wife talking about building a door way from the kitchen to my Man Cave as well as placing a door in the garage to where the man cave is going to be located I think that I will need

Poll for the Public: De La Soul vs A Tribe Called Quest

VS

Yes, I went there! This weeks challenge is A Tribe Called Quest vs De La Soul. Crazy that I went there seeing that these gentiles are all part of a movement which included Monie Love and Queen Lateefah. These two groups were part of the Happy Rap movement as well ( that's what Bernie Mac called it). But I really wants to know what exactly what it is that you may have on your mind with this battle.

Poll for the Public: Fabolous vs. Jadakiss

In the beginning of last week I put out a poll on Fabolous vs. Jadakiss and the great members of the +HipHopHeadz Community responded. So here we go listening to poll and understanding Hip Hop the final word is in. At the end of the week the winner is:
